What is string pulling?  Its the act of dipping an ordinary string into paint or ink, laying it on a page in your art journal in a squiggly manner, but leaving some of your unpainted string hanging off the bottom of the book. Then closing the book, applying pressure with one hand on top of your book while grabbing the string left hanging out of the bottom of the book with the other, and pulling the string out.  Then you open your book and find the design left by your string pulling.  This is mine. To me it looked like wings.
